Vision
The fundamental vision of the department is to develop the livestock sector in our country using modern knowledge and technologies, to conduct national and international projects capable of clearly identifying and solving its problems, and to train Zootechnist Agricultural Engineers with the necessary knowledge and skills in this field.
Mission
The Department of Zootechnology is comprised of the Animal Breeding, Biometry and Genetics, and Feeds and Animal Nutrition Departments within the Faculty of Agriculture at Isparta University of Applied Sciences. The fundamental mission of the department is to train scientists who can increase efficiency in animal production at regional, national, and international levels, conduct research activities within ethical boundaries, contribute to science, positively impact production, interpret and transfer acquired knowledge and equipment, and possess originality and academic competence.
